This journal acknowledges the widespread use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools within the academic community and, through this policy, is committed to regulating their use in all declared processes related to the publication of articles.
Article Writing Authors may use generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, DeepL, Grammarly, etc.) to support technical tasks such as translation, language improvement, grammar correction, or the preliminary formulation of ideas, provided that the final content is reviewed and validated by the responsible human authors. The use of AI tools must be disclosed, either in the methodology section or in the acknowledgements. Additionally, at the time of submission, authors must declare whether AI tools were used, specifying which tools and at what stage.
AI tools may not, under any circumstances, be listed as authors or co-authors. Scientific authorship is reserved exclusively for natural persons who have made an intellectual contribution and can take public responsibility for the work.
The use of AI does not exempt authors from their ethical and academic responsibility regarding the content, originality, and accuracy of the article.

Assistance in writing and editing, with the goal of improving scientific language, conciseness, clarity, and grammatical correctness. However, authors remain responsible for the final content and must verify its accuracy.
Bibliographic preparation, where AI may support the organization of bibliographic sources.
Data analysis, allowing the integration of AI for data analysis and modeling, as long as the methodology is thoroughly described and the reliability of the resulting data is ensured.
Plagiarism checking, where AI tools can be used to verify originality and improve the accuracy of citations and references.
Unacceptable uses include:
Generating data, results, or analyses that have not been obtained through validated scientific methods.
Editorial Processes Peer Review During the peer review process, AI may be used to support the verification of texts and data, provided that the full content is not shared in its entirety with an AI tool.
In writing the final editorial decision regarding acceptance or rejection, AI must not be used. Such decisions must be made and written solely by human editors.
Confidentiality and Data Protection The use of AI tools must respect confidentiality principles concerning manuscripts and personal data. Full texts should not be uploaded to external platforms without adequate privacy safeguards.
Ethical Considerations The use of AI must adhere to principles of transparency, integrity, and scientific rigor. AI may not be used to fabricate or manipulate data, nor to generate unverifiable content.
Undeclared, inappropriate, or deceptive use of AI tools may be considered an ethical violation and may result in:

Rejection of the manuscript, or
Retraction of the article if already published.
