Development and Validation of a Booklet in Educational Research: A Supplementary Material for Filipino Teacher Education Students

Julius Ceazar G. Tolentino is the chairperson of the Department of Physical Education and the Concurrent Coordinator of the Research Management Unit of the College of Education, Don Honorio Ventura State University, Bacolor, Pampanga, Philippines. He is currently completing his coursework for the degree, Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction at the Philippine Normal University-Manila (The National Center for Teacher Education). He finished his International Continuing Professional Education Program titled “Continuity of Education – eLearning Philippines” from the Texas International Education Consortium, based in Austin, Texas, United States of America via the Scholarships for Graduate Studies Abroad and International Relations of the Commission on Higher Education, Philippines. He also received the following degrees: Master of Science in Human Movement Science from the University of the Philippines Diliman (2021); and   Master in Physical Education and Sports from the Bataan Peninsula State University, City of Balanga, Bataan, Philippines (2016). His research interests include physical education pedagogy; research and development; cultural studies; and human movement science with an emphasis on leisure. Catherine G. Danganan is an associate professor from the Department of Elementary Education, College of Education, Don Honorio Ventura State University, Bacolor, Pampanga, Philippines. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy major in Educational Management degree from the University of the Assumption, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines, and Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management from the Don Honorio Ventura State University. Adonis A. David is a full-time Graduate School faculty and the current Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences of the Don Honorio Ventura State University, Bacolor, Pampanga, Philippines. Dr. David also teaches research in the Department of Elementary Education of the College of Education in the same institution.  He received his Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education major in Biology degree from De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines (2019) and Master of Arts in Education major in Biology from Bulacan State University, Bulacan, Philippines (2015). Jenelyn T. Peña is an associate professor and the chairperson of the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education, College of Education, Don Honorio Ventura State University, Bacolor, Pampanga, Philippines. In the same institution, she earned the degree, Doctor of Education major in Educational Management (2013). Dr. Peña also holds a master’s degree in Education major in Language Education from the New Era University, Quezon City, Philippines (2006).
