Focus and Scope

The Multidisciplinary Journal for Education, Social and Technological Sciences (MUSE) is dedicated to publishing high-quality research that addresses both theoretical and empirical issues across the fields of education, social sciences, and technological sciences. The journal embraces a multidisciplinary perspective, encouraging submissions that integrate diverse disciplines to provide a comprehensive understanding of complex global issues. MUSE prioritizes manuscripts that explore international perspectives, though high-quality studies focused on domestic contexts with broader implications are equally welcome.

In addition to original research articles, the journal features case studies with practical applications, articles on learning and teaching methodologies in both social and scientific disciplines, and comprehensive reviews that contribute to the scholarly discourse. MUSE aims to serve a diverse audience, including academics, policy makers, practitioners, and analysts working in both governmental and non-governmental organizations, providing critical insights into global educational, social, and technological environments.

As a diamond open-access journal supported by the Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain), MUSE neither charges for reading nor for publishing, ensuring that there are no article submission charges or article processing charges (APCs). The journal is published under the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license, ensuring free access and promoting the sharing of knowledge for non-commercial purposes.

MUSE places special emphasis on work that contributes to the achievement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the context of education, sustainable social policies, and technological innovation.
