Call for Papers: Virtual Archaeology Review (VAR) - Oct.6, 2024
The Virtual Archaeology Review (VAR) is launching a Special Issue on ’Computer-based Visualization of Architectural Cultural Heritage’ that will be published in January 2025.
The digital revolution offers the possibility of bringing a new life at present. We call for scientific papers addressing the “scientific” nature of 3D virtual reconstruction of architectural cultural heritage from our past, up to the verification and validation stages. The main objective is to suggest applicable guidelines and operational methodologies for the study, implementation, visualization, handling, management and critical assessment of 3D models. This Call is ideal for experts used to work in multidisciplinary teams able to exhibit comprehensive guidelines on the scientific nature of Computer-based Visualization of Architectural Cultural Heritage.
